Aimed at the problem of temperature rise in application of hybrid journal bearing,based on theoretical analysis of hydrodynamic performance on a spiral oil wedge hybrid bearing,a set of test-bed was developed,and the influence of outlet hole of the bearing on bearing performance was studied.

The results show that,suitable geometry parameters of the oil recess can supply sufficient carrying capacity and make the lubrication separation effectively,which can avoid the lubrication heat up repeated and slow down the temperature rise.
