Property requirements of super-martensitic stainless steel especially using for hydroelectric station are briefly introduced in this paper,characteristics and basic principle of alloying process of this steel,especially,the influence of alloy process on the content and distribution of retained austenite and δ ferrite in the steel are also analyzed in detail.
