In this paper ,according to the hypothesis that there is a″pseudoexpansion″inside a medium dur-ing the laser pulse,the mechanism of detonative destruction produced inside a tabular medium by apulse laser is studied by using the cylindrical model when the solid medium is isotropy and tabular.
