Analysis of the water soluble salts in airborne dust samples collected in Beijing has been carried out by various analytic methods, the results show that K +, Na +, Ca 2+ , Mg 2+ , NH 4 + , SO 4 2- , NO 3 -, Cl -, F -, HCO 3 - and NO 2 - exist in the water solution of dust.
