In this paper,the characteristic of the main parameters during the process of the line fault in metallic return operation is discussed and confirmed on RTDS first;then,based on the DC protection system of Tian-Guang,Gao-Zhao and Xing-An HVDC transmission projects,the correlative protection is introduced.
